The we ordered miso and the mushroom appetizer, which were both very good. The miso had mushrooms and seaweed as well as tofu. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The sushi was the only issues. It has the potential of being very good. I just think the rice was not completely fresh so it distracted from the overall taste of the rolls. The rice was kind of al dente or mildly dehydrated if you know what I mean. But otherwise like I said the sushi would have been very good indeed. The only thing that I think really needs improvement, keeping the rice fresh, was the eel. It was not good. I don’t know what they can do to make it better. Maybe get a different kind or cook it better I don’t know but that eel was not good. Overall our visit was a good one. The atmosphere was nice. They didn’t blast the music as some restaurants are want to do. The place was relatively clean, though I can’t say the same about their bathrooms. The bathrooms were not very well maintained. Would I go back? Yes I would. I would like to see if the rice thing was a fluke. Would I recommend this place? I think I would because despite some of the issues it was pleasant sushi and overall experience.

Food selection was great. Best miso I've ever had. Portion size was large. I had a bento and was happy with the selection and the price. I thought the wait was a little long, as we got in right after they opened and were not busy yet.

This one was a very good experience. I have not tried an udon soup as good as this soup in six years. It remained me of the SD's ichi ban in Hillcrest. My only concern was that I had to request the boiled egg, and no broccoli was added. Excellent.

Mexican style sushi fast service friendly staff and the menu has a little bit of everything. The sushi roll was so good I forgot to take a picture and share it. I ended up having the baja roll with some chile gueritos and shared a fried rice bowl. Highly recommend if your around South of ensenada. Owner is super chill too

Service was quick, food came right away. It was just sushi nothing special. Waiters look like they don't want to be there. Plenty of parking.

Sushi is delicious and price is in range. You can order food to eat there, take out or they can take it to your house! Our top choices on rolls are the Bahia, Primavera and Hermes roll and of course the suggestions of the chef; there is also the torikarage chicken that I strongly recommend.
